Hello there!

I'm Marissa, a twenty-three year old with a love for traveling, eating, sports, and learning. I grew up in Michigan, graduated from Michigan State University, and spent a fantastic year in Germany before returning to the States for my first real job at a public policy consulting firm.

A few facts about me:

I've finally learned to embrace and love being a Type-A nerd. Technically I'm an only child, but my best friend and furry Wheaten Terrier sister, Clover, is the light of my life. I rowed on MSU's Club Rowing Team in college and I continue to associate the coming of spring with overnight van rides to Oak Ridge and Philly for racing season. I've watched the full seasons of the West Wing and Gilmore Girls at least seven times each, and I have a huge girl crush on/want to be C.J. Cregg. Autumn is my favorite season, and will always seem like a fresh start to the year. I love craft beer, euro wine, and a well-made latte. I enjoy making to-do lists more than a normal person probably should, but who would want to be normal anyway?!
